Baby Constipation

Constipation or difficult to defecate is often be a common baby / child problems. What are the constipation? and what is it? Baby constipation experiencing difficulties or defecate, it means the baby defecate is difficult, hard and feces such as stone, and it is very difficult and ill while out. To note that constipation is not related to the number of times the baby defecate in a day. Defecate once every 2 – 3 days once with feces that is not hard or soft, it’s NOT constipation.

Constipation rarely occur in infants given breast milk exclusive. Constipation occurred in starting the baby formula began to drink milk or eat other food began, the consistency of feces will be changed and can be constipation.

Constipation in babies is usually because:
• Problems or changes in diet food diet food-usually when the baby starts solid foods are introduced.
• Lack of fluids and fiber in food.

How to Help Baby constipation?
When the baby is having trouble defecate then as parents we will be concerned. Below are some tips to help your baby is experiencing difficulty during defecate or called constipation.
• Give your baby more liquids, such as white water, milk, or after the age of 4 months can be given fruit juice is diluted.
• Sports — help your baby by doing exercise or sports with a small knee bend baby soft towards the stomach several times, which will help to defecate.
• Give your baby’s bath water warm.
• Lubricate with baby oil in the area around the baby’s anus.
• Once the baby starts solid food, give it more food from the fibrous fruit and vegetables.

I hope above tips can help your baby is experiencing difficulty defecate.

And you should consult your doctor if:

• After changing a diet and eating habits that have still not solve the problem,
• If a baby or child looks very smart.
• Exit the blood in feces.
• Occur or injury in the anus hole because of the strong pressure.
